The Monticello Community Historical Society is dedicated to the appreciation, preservation and celebration of the history and heritage of the Monticello Community, Johnson County, Kansas with Monticello, Holliday, Cedar Crest, Virginia School, Wilder, Zarah and Craig, Chouteau , and Frisbie station, western Shawnee and Lenexa.

Thu Apr 14 7pm.-Singing the Cattle North by Jim Hoy by the Kansas Humanities Council.
Fri Apr 15 2-7 pm.- Mulch and Plant Sale Fundraiser
Sat Apr 16 8am-1pm.- Mulch and Plant Sale Fundraiser
Sat Apr 30 11:30am-1pm.- Dedication of the Sign at Garrett Park on 47th.

Thu May 12 7pm.- Cow Town History Presented by Steve Noll.
Sat May 14 8-11AM.- Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale.
Thu Jun 16 8:30 am-3:30 pm.- Field Trip to St. Joseph.
